CHARACTERS


The cast members and frequent guests of Saturday Night Live have created over 600 recurring characters since the show debuted in 1975. Warriors, talk show hosts, musicians, salespeople, and detectives have taken the SNL stage and made us laugh time and time again.

Each character has its own page in The Archives. It lists who played it, any recurring sketches in which it appeared more than once, and a summary of all sketches in which it appeared.
